Janelle Harrison, CPA

Janelle is a Chartered Professional Accountant with nearly two decades of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis and financial reporting. Her career spans public practice, local government and business ownership, so she has seen the same problems from three very different sides of the table.

She began in public practice serving owner-managed businesses, then spent more than a decade in local government finance with a regional district and a mid-sized municipality, rising to Financial Reporting Supervisor. There she led a five-person team, managed the consolidated year-end, oversaw financial statements prepared to public sector standards, led the annual audit, and designed the reporting delivered to senior leadership and council.

She also owns and operates commercial real estate. She has processed the invoices, prepared the statements, led the audit, sat with leadership and signed for the business.
